Osaki OS-7200H Review

Osaki is one of the leading brands in the massage chair industry, so I was naturally excited to give the OS-7200H a try. Before my first session, I envisioned being enveloped in a cloud while having every kink and knot worked out of my muscles. And for the first time in a long time, my expectations were pretty close to reality.

I can’t say this chair is perfect in every regard – although it’s close – but I can say that it gives all of the other models I’ve tried (yes, even the Inada) a run for their money.

Osaki OS-7200H Review

First, let me start off by saying that the OS-7200H is one of the most advanced chairs in the Osaki series. It comes with so many features, it will make your head spin, but don’t worry – you won’t spend hours trying to learn how to use it.

The remote control is user-friendly, and puts all of the chair’s controls at your fingertips. First, the body scanning system’s rollers will scan the curves of your back and automatically make adjustments according to your body type and height.

Once it has scanned your body, you can then select the type of massage you want using the remote. There are six preset programs to choose from as well as a manual massage mode that works the upper body. I was able to choose the speed and intensity of the massage as well as the width of the head rollers.

Like other Osaki chairs, the OS-7200H can recline to the zero gravity position, which allows you to really enjoy a deep massage while also eliminating some of the pressure on your back.

One thing that really impressed me about this chair was its ability to massage areas of the body that other chairs miss. For example, the head massage system uses twin rollers to mimic the feeling of fingers and thumbs. Most chairs don’t even offer a head massage function. It will massage your calves and your feet, too. It will even go as far as adjusting the leg rests automatically to suit individual leg length. Did I mention that it will massage the outer shoulders, arms, hands, hips and pelvis, too? When I say that the Os-7200H is thorough, I mean it.

There are a total of 51 air bag massagers equipped onto this chair as well as a stretching function, heat therapy and even music player connections, so you can listen to relaxing music during your massage session.

The OS-7200H is the total package – period.

Pros

  • Full and partial body massage functions
  • Zero gravity position to decompress the spine
  • Automatic leg rest adjustment
  • Body scanning technology
  • Multiple massage programs and a stretch mode
  • Complementary therapies, including heat and music

Cons

  • Heavy

I really couldn’t find anything to complain about when reviewing this chair. The only minor issue I can see is that the OS-7200H is very heavy. But that’s to be expected as most massage chairs are around the same weight. Make sure that you have at least one extra pair of hands to move this chair into your home.

If you’re looking for a massage chair that will reach every little kink and knot, this is definitely the chair for you. From your outer shoulders to your arms, hips, pelvis and feet, the OS-7200H will massage your entire body to put you into a complete state of relaxation and bliss.
